Best NYC Bars for Casual Client Events?

Hey guys. I'm planning a small post-conference networking event around Midtown for approximately 40 to 50 people. Any thoughts on good bars preferably with an expanded back room?

I've been to a good bit of these types of events, but am always underwhelmed by the choice of location. Wanted to see if our wise WSO community had any better suggestions or experiences...

Upper part of midtown where a lot of the conferences take place. Say a 10-minute walking radius from Times Square. Any thoughts?
