Random but was curious, which NYC bank (BB/EB/MM) has the building with the most amenities (gym, cafeteria, etc). I know this is not a major point (you will likely not spend much time outside of your work space) but was curious to know, and think it might be a fun topic to take some stress out of the current summer analyst recruiting process.

WF is in Hudson Yards now...that's pretty dope. My offices are decent, but I'd say none of the BB offices are extraordinary (though I haven't been through many of them).

KKR/Wells in 30 Hudson Yards. Lazard in 30 Rock is supposed to have amazing views. JPM is building a 1400 ft tall new hq at 270 park ave. Renders look nice
Lazard, PJT, Centerview have fire offices. Superdayed there and can vouch. All of the BBs are average except BofA and Citi.
+1 for the Centerview office. Hard to beat the free gourmet cafeteria and coffee bar

Starting at MS this summer--any idea what their office is like? Hear there is a gym?
MS sucks. The lobby is bad, the gym is all right and the cafeteria is in the basement. Definitely not the best place.
The gym is decent and has a nice spin studio + there's a Columbia physical therapy outpatient center & free doctor's office downstairs, when you inevitably have lower back pain from sitting in a chair / headaches from staring at a screen. The cafeteria is decent and only open for breakfast/ lunch: sushi bar, burger/sandwich spot, as well as your usual salad bar / hot foods. More or less Whole Foods prices. I think it's like $12 for a roll of sushi and some nigiris, and then $8 or 9 per pound of food
Most of the main floors for banking/trading are horrendous, with the exception of the associate pool floor, which has a tech inspired high density setup. Filthy filthy navy blue carpet, with cubicles / desks that have been there for 20+ years and a ton of half-broken chairs. When you print books late at night, you have to take two different elevators, which is the last thing you want to do at 11:30 pm.
The external client meeting floors are beautiful as are the executive floors where Jimmy G and friends sit, but you prob won't see them as an intern

Yeah, in the basement. It's ok, has most machines but everyone wears the same drab grey gym attire and it's obv. full of depressed bankers.

The best office:
PJ Solomon.
I'm telling you it's got PJT style marble and glass, but overlooks central park so you have these stunning conference rooms. Lazard defiantly has the best views of both north and south, but their offices are a bit 1970s - PJS has floor to ceiling glass and you can see all the way to the reservoir.
Anyway, all banks sort of start to look the same from the inside, especially the BBs.
MS does have a nice cafeteria and the floor where the Associate Pool sits is a lot of fun, although you need to work in Times Square, so call that a push.
JPM is funny, I remember asking "why are there all these framed photos of ships?" and no one knew. They just kind of accepted it as some weird design choice made decades ago.
BarCap - about as standard an office as you can get, a bit north of times square so not as bad but Midtown west kinda sucks in general, in my opinion.
Credit Suisse - Amazing location, especially when it is warm out. It would also be dope to be able to live in the villages and walk to work. Upstairs...same thing as everyone lol.

I know it almost entirely unrelated, but I had a few meeting in the AllianceBernstein office in DC and the conference room has a direct view of the White House. Heights are cool, but that's a baller view right there.
