Would ding the Armani suit simply because it's a three-button - looks dated in my opinion. If colour's your only consideration, I'd still also go with the Black Lapel suit - the Armani suit is borderline black and I firmly believe you should never wear a black suit (unless it's a black tie event or a funeral)... Or if you're Italian.

The only difference between Asset Management and Investment Research is assets. I generally see somebody I know on TV on Bloomberg/CNBC etc. once or twice a week. This sounds cool, until I remind myself that I see somebody I know on ESPN five days a week.
