Best Sources to Study Technicals Beyond Guides? (LBOs, Accretion/Dilution)
Hey all,
Got some technical interviews lined up for FT recruiting. I've nailed the guides inside out and utilized some past WSO posts to get a sense of accretion/dilution, LBO, and EV/Equity Value questions, but was wondering if y'all knew of some other sources. Sample questions and interview-level study resources would be great. Much appreciation.
Thanks.
Would try to model recent deals out and think about what you’re doing and why. Practice makes perfect and knowing technicals from a guide is different than putting it in place in a model or valuation. Sites like multiple expansion, BIWS/M&I are helpful with a holistic view. No need to buy anything unless you don’t know how to model and want to learn (helps a lot to hit the job running, first impressions matter) or will have case studies.
Have you read Rosenbaum and Pearl's Investment Banking book? It's more like a textbook, but incredibly thorough and meaty. No practice questions, but it has lots of examples.
