Big 4 Accounting VS Asset Management for Business School. PLEASE HELP!

Hello everyone,

My situation:

Just graduated from a non-target UC. 3.85 Major gpa in business equivalent degree, poor cummulative gpa (3.2 started in engineering). Currently interning at a California pension fund also have one past internship in wealth mangement and one as discount broker intern. No full time job prospects.

My question is... Should i continue in Asset Management and try to get whatever job I can while pursuing the cfa, with the risk of not getting a name brand job or a good job.

Or should I go a more certain route and do a summer program in accounting that would ultimately land me a job with a big four accounting firm (program has great recruiting)

I don't want to hurt my chances for a top business school more than I already have with my poor cummulative gpa, and I am wondering which route has the better probability of getting into a good business school.

On a side note, do business schools look at transcipts of schools you attended after undergrad?

Thanks
