Big 4 TS promotion or lateral
I'm currently in a regional office for a big 4 firm working in TS (fdd) on mm transactions and the market is hot right now with big demand for professionals since the economy opened up again and deal flow returned beyond expectations.
I'm currently sitting on two offers.
The first offer is a double promotion in ts for another big 4 working on larger deals and in a tier 1 city. Money is better for sure but I kind if want to exit ts.
Second offer is mm m&a for a top 6 accounting firm working on lower to mid mm deals mainly with founders and entrepreneurs in my regional city. The offer is for the same level I'm currently at with slightly better pay.
Background: I'm bored in the regional city and have been looking to move to a tier 1 city but can extend this out if needed. My goal has been to enter mm ib/mm pe/corp dev and money isn't an issue and happy to take a hit for better opportunities down the line.
Which opportunity sounds better?
