big 4 vs corporate banking --> IB?

which would be easier to transition into IB?
big 4 m&a consulting: post merger integration work
Corporate banking at a BB: very modeling light, but we are housed under the IB division, and there is a lot of interaction with IB. I am NOT interested in moving to Lev fin.

 

You don’t need an MBA, it just helps a lot. Assuming you are still in undergrad (correct me if I’m wrong), why not just go for boutique IBs right now? They’ll be hiring throughout the rest of this year and into the spring.

 

For what its worth, I went Corporate Finance --> Large Accounting firm consulting (just outside big 4) -->MM IB. Many of the questions I received from the senior guys were plans on going back for my MBA so it is definitely something that would help. That being said my transition was a bit out of the norm. Happy to answer any questions you have specifically
