Biking to work?

I was just wondering how you all view biking as a means of transportation. I don't have a car and the distance between my apt and my internship isn't very walkable, plus the city I'm in right now doesn't have a good public infrastructure system. Would it be weird if I biked to work, and should I just take ubers instead?
