Bill Gates Dumps Insects on Crowd

Seriously, Bill Gates needs to go back to work. Since his retirement last summer he is now left to his own devices and he's decided to take on malaria. Ok, a somewhat worthy cause. But the question is, what is the best way to make people truly understand how the disease is transmitted? Well, apparently simply explaining to a room full of reasonably intelligent adults that the main way it's spread is by mosquito bites just wouldn't quite get his point across so instead he chose to release a batch of the hungry little buggers right into the crowd. Sorry I missed that party.

The fiasco occurred earlier today at the TED2009 (Technology, Entertainment and Design) conference where Gates was giving a presentation about malaria education and eradication (Although, I'm still not clear on what the threat of malaria has to do with TED).

The best part is, shortly after releasing the swarm of bloodsuckers he was quoted as stating "Not only poor people should experience this". Great, thanks for keeping it real Billy.

This is just proof that some people should NEVER retire.

GoodBread:
Wow. Maybe being a billionaire isn't as great as its cracked up to be.

You kidden me? He can release a swarm of mosquitoes on a crowd of unsuspecting people and not even have to worry about repercussions because he's Bill Gates.

Pretty badass if you ask me.
