These shoes are fine. Nobody gives a fuck if they have a tiny ass metal ornament. If you like them, get them, they look pretty good.
One thing about this forum: take things with a grain of salt, man. Don't listen to people who tell you to buy $300 shoes for a fucking interview. That won't help you get the job, your skills will.

I wasn't suggesting that the cole haans would make or break an interview, or that he should buy them for an interview and then toss them. You buy a pair of shoes like that, take care of them, and wear them for years. There's nothing wrong with spending good money on your professional wardrobe.
