BlackRock FMA 1st Round Interview

I have a 1st round interview with BlackRock Financial Market Advisory for SA 2015. The interview is literally a video recording of your answers that you submit to HR (welcome to automation lol).

Anyone know what kind of questions they will ask? Any advice/feedback would be greatly appreciated!

Nope I haven't. I have a friend who interviewed for BlackRock last year and he said that it takes about a week for them to get back to you. Given the automation, I'm assuming that they can screen many more candidates than if conducting a phone interview, thus requiring more time to review every candidate.

I anticipate that we'll hear back by either tomorrow or next week.

If it helps ya'll should know they are still sending those interviews out, I just got an invitation to do a video interview for their SF - Investments SA position, due this sunday.

I am not sure whether the summer internship recruiting process is same as FT but I had the first round virtual interview where you have to record your answers to a few questions(i.e why BlackRock? why this division? tell me about the time when you needed to come up with a creative solution) then. About one or two weeks later, 30 minute second round interview (mostly behavioral, fit questions and explaining what you have done during the previous internships). After one or two weeks, the final round back to back interview with four people

1st Round for me was general behavior questions, however with a negative spin. I.e. "When was the last time you broke the rules." "When was the last time you lied." The interviewer wasn't necessarily the friendliest, however he was fair.

Needless to say, I shit the bed on that one.

I too have my first round interview for an analyst position in the FMA group. Do you know what type of technical questions (if any) I'll be asked throughout the process? Any help would be much appreciated!
