BlackRock Interview (Global Client Analyst )

Hello everyone,

I know people have post about the BlackRock interviews before but there does not seem to be any good answers.

I am wondering what the first round interview is like for the Global Client Analyst position. BlackRock is coming to our campus for the interviews. Please post or PM me.

Thank you

I believe you're referring to the global client group.

It was mostly fit, though I was asked a lot of general market questions, to pitch a stock, what I read, ...

Have several stories ready from financial times, the economist, wsj, ... to talk about. Was asked a lot about writing courses and qualitative skills. Expect resume and background to be ripped apart and be ready to spend the entire interview defending yourself.

Superday was a real endurance test. 6 scheduled interviews + was asked to meet with 2 other people after wards. Ended up lasting around 4 and a half hours without a break. Don't make the mistake of drinking a lot of water beforehand and you should be fine.
