My friend works there as an Associate. He likes it a lot, was an English major at Princeton. I met the MD there too I think.

Basically they're a middle office job that does internal strategy for the whole firm with some client work. If you want a god's eye view of the financial world, it's a good place to start. Also, the people in that office are pretty great. They do a lot of sales and marketing support as well. It's a really good job if you're well-rounded but still have some finance experience. I sincerely doubt you'll be using much excel or valuing lots of companies every day, so be aware of that. My friend says that it's pretty quick moving, but he can "leave it on the court" after he leaves the office.

FInance Pun, what kind of 'entry level' jobs do you think would be most beneficial for someone if they were to gain a strong knowledge of as you said "a god's eye view" of the financial world?

Thanks

Not sure I follow. They generally want someone with a financial services internship. After that, well tbh I've never heard of anyone leaving their office.
