BlackRock or PwC

BlackRock: internship offer in PAG
PwC: internship offer in FDD

Which one would you go with and why?
I'd rather work in a more prestigious firm. I know the two positions are completely different but that's just who I am.

Any advice would be much appreciated.

What do you like more, audit/accounting or finance/technology?

PAG stands for Portfolio Analytics Group. Analytics is pretty tech heavy as is most of BlackRock, but you should get some pretty good exposure and experience. I also think it would be relatively enjoyable, the company is certainly better than PwC if you like finance and tech. I can't speak for external exit ops but I think that internally it should give you the ability to move around. The industry is asset & investment management and you'll be working in analytics which is more data and tech driven. There's not that huge FO v. BO divide like in IBD.

PwC is more audit, accounting, financial statement examination, etc. If that's your think then go for it. Get your CPA, etc, etc.

Personally, I'd choose PAG. You can get your CFA, learn about finance, technology, and analytics; which are all going to become more and more important as we proceed into the future.
