Hey guys, so I've been wondering about something and hope those in the know can help me clear it up.
hires pre-MBA associates for 2 yrs who had the 2 yr stint in . also hires analysts straight out of undergrad for the 3-yr program. However, by the end of the 3rd year, the straight-out-of-undergrad analysts are supposed to be at the same level (hierarchical wise in ), thus saving the analyst 1yr.
The confusion is this. BX Pre-MBA associates gets paid 300-400k. Many have said that BX pays the first year analysts what BBs pay their IBD analysts. So does this mean that BX analysts will make much less than Pre-MBA associates even though they are at the same level hierarchically wise (since 3 yrs of BX PE analyst =2yrs of IBD+2yrs of BX associate)? Or does that mean the analysts salary jump from 60-70k to 300k? Please clarify.
