BNP Sales/Structuring interview...please help!

Hello All.

I have an associate interview coming up for BNP Paribas Fixed Income Sales/Structuring position.

Unfortunately, I have no finance background other than the basics I learned during my MBA core class (like what is a bond...lol), and definitely never had any sales/trading interview prep. Not sure why I was even selected for the interview. So any help would be appreciated. Also, they bunch up sales and structuring, so you don't know which one you're interviewing with.

My questions:

1) Does anyone have experience interviewing with this position in particular? What can I expect, like how technical does it get? What questions have you gotten?

2) What are some of the topics I should go over?

3) What are some of the market indicators I should look at?

4) Are there behavioral questions? I am generally good at those, but have no idea what to expect from S&T behavioral questions.

Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks.

Same here as well. I have final interview for analyst for Sales/Structuring. I'm confused as well bc usually Structuring is more like for quantitative genius isn't it? I'm more interested on the sales side. Can anyone help as well?

^Not particularly for BNP....I think we are interested with BNP not other firms.

Are you sure you've even bothered to try searching older threads on here? If you did, you must be fairly woeful at googling.

Considering I dug up 4 threads at a canter, it's hard to believe you cannot find a thread "particularly for BNP".

Now, I wonder if you'd bother reading despite having been spoonfed...
