Bond Math Examples
As someone with a credit interview coming up, I was wondering if you guys can provide some examples of bond math I might expect walking into an interview. Is it usually just solving for yield (YTM, HPY), or price? What is the way to approach these interview questions (liberal arts major so have no previous credit experience)

solving for ytm back of the envelope is pretty difficult. I'd expect questions on your knowledge of the yield cure, difference between current yield and ytm, how relationship between coupon and ytm determine discount/premium/par, and maybe some duration questions
Nominal yield, current yield, YTM, yield to call, how interest rates effect bond prices, callable and putable bonds, treasury bonds, municipal bonds, corporate bonds.
Were you able to land an interview in credit pretty easily even with no previous experience?
