no. bah is not doing admin work. they are providing advice as management consultants. they have a lot of experience with wikileaks-like public scandals through their government work, and BoA's unique situation reflects a lot of bah's previous work - for both public and private clients
I wonder if the wikileaks release will show how bank of America broke into peoples homes, put guns to their heads and forced them to spend beyond their means. We all know banks are evil and people had no choice but to buy 10 plasma TV's. Only the rich have access to books and information, there is no cheaply and readily available means for the common man to research or look up information. We are all victims and only the government can save us.
You know what the stupid thing is here? The govt and corps spend collectively tens of billions on technical cybersecurity, but any PFC or disgruntled clerk can go around all that because there is no guarding against the human factor. NONE. I remember after 911 they were talking about provably-secure national ID cards -- all ignoring the fact that all it takes is one greased palm or one pissed of civil servant to print you up as many provably secure cards you want, etc.
This is all a fucking joke, a great way to keep consultants paid while no one is more secure by one fucking iota.
While I will agree that the individual is always the weakest link, this isn't a case of BoA having documents in the garbage. This is corporate espionage and a criminal offense. Everyone loves gossip until it is them being talked about.
I am all for legal Process, but people play the little guy card way too much. Banking is on of the most saturated industries. If you hate a bank, go to a community bank or credit union. If a bank increases fees or lowers your rate, go somewhere else. The USA was founded on personal responsibility. Maybe 100 years ago I would be on the side of the individual, but anyone with an Internet conncetion can get answers to everything in minutes.
Not saying it is easy, but this is how you learn. Stop blaming banks. If they kept the stringent mortgage requirements Home ownership numbers would not have spiked. Everyone loved banks when janitors got approved for mansions. Now they are evil for kicking these people out. Get a friggin grip.

The problem is, there's so much information on the internet, and if all the sheeple read comments from other sheeple claiming that the banks are evil, they'll join the populist rage. For every right commentary or piece of information is 10 wrong ones waiting to pollute more minds. I'll be the first one to say that I think the public is misguided, but at this point, I don't even care about what type of shit the sheeple will be shitting next.

They've been apparently buying up bankofamericablows.com and the like in preparation for the fallout from the leak. Good times.
By the by, your article is pay walled.
