Boutique Consulting Case Interview Help

So I have a case interview with boutique financial consulting firm next week. After digging through the small amount of interview reviews on Glassdoor a couple people have mentioned you have to use excel to make a decision on a business case and then present it with powerpoint.

I was expecting more of the typical consulting case structure that I have done before. My excel skills could be better than they currently are. Do you guys have any insight or ideas to what I should start looking at so I don't completely bomb this interview?

Thanks for your help
