Boutique Firms - Looking to make a career switch
Hey guys,
I'm looking to make a career switch into S&T. I'm in sales right now but in a complete different aspect of the business and after reading up on S&T I feel that its 100% the move for me.
With that being said, I want to apply all over (bulge, MM, and boutiques), however, I feel that I'll have a much better chance at landing a job at a boutique (thoughts?). I've been trying to find a list of the boutique firms in the NYC area and can't seem to get too far which is why I'm asking you guys. I appreciate the help.
Boutique IBs don't have S&T groups basically only MMs and BBs do.

Hmm didn't know Evercore had S&T... but the other ones are all prop trading, not S&T/market making.....
Those are all trading firms...
If you want to do sales or be a sales trader then you have to go to BB
.
FNYS isn't a IB, Jane Street isn't a IB, KBW is a middle market investment bank and Evercore doesn't have S&T.
