BP GDP Trader Comp Progression

Curious if anyone has numbers on BP GDP progression after the 3 year training program?

I've heard some people make even up to 7 fig bonuses, but not sure if those are just outliers. Like 1, 2, 5, 10 years out of the training program, what can I expect? Total comp upwards of ~300K?

The only guys at BP who i have anecdotally head making 7 fig bonus are the crude crude desk leads... yeah traders have bonuses but for a 7 fig bonus you really need to make a shit ton of money for the company. I believe those kind of numbers are outliers.

As for progression after the GDP depends on you. No one know how it will progress or how the markets will look like. Look at gas last year where some guys made some big figures. but thats cause the market moved in their favor and they had the balls to take the risk. If they were on the other side they would have blown up.

BP Gas and Power is unique in that many traders in senior roles can make well above 7 figures. The reason is those individuals can goto funds/merchants that will pay them on a %book structure so BP has to match it. Is it an outlier? Possibly in the online forum daydreams, but happens very often cause BP attracts top talent.

The crude business as mentioned is even more top heavy, as it is structured differently and more a pyramid scheme (joking).
