Breaking into finance.... as an entrepreneur?
Thanks in advance guys for any input. First time posting here. I am a programmer and run a small development firm in NYC. Been reading for quite a while and I finally want to make a jump into the market.
I want to put some money into play and have been looking at day trading. First, I started researching prop firms because I thought the leverage was a good thing, since I want to start with $10,000. Alot of negative thoughts on this from the forums, so I'm here to get some advice and direction. I am willing to invest up to 100k once I get a feel for it in the market. I am not looking for average yearly gains, I like taking risks for big returns. What would you guys recommend getting into? Where can you get big returns?
Also, I would like to add. I am not looking for a ROTH, I am not looking to reinvest in my company. I really don't mind the challenge and I actually welcome it.
