Breaking through consulting or do something totally different?

I am 25, graduated with a Bachelor and Master's degree in finance from a decent school in Europe in 2015 (not target though) and I am currently working at a leading expert network firm in the U.S.

During the first 3 months at this firm, I was exclusively working for hedge funds and private equity firms but as I neither have the drive for the S&T industry nor the background to join a private equity firm, I asked to switch desk. Since January, I exclusively work for MBB and tier 2 & tier 3 consulting firms. As I am pretty involved in my clients' projects, I have gotten a sense of how my clients (from analysts to partners sometimes) structure their work, the depth of the questions they will ask our experts, how they gather the information, how they compile it, the back and forth between the analysts and their end-clients etc.

I am still trying to figure out where I would see myself growing a career as I do not have any hard skill or a real passion for a specific product/industry even after having spoken on the phone with many F500 C-level executives. However at my current job, I absolutely love the opportunity to oversee many different industries/markets.

Do you think that if the opportunity ever arises down the road, I should join a tier2-tier3 consulting firm despite my relatively old age? How could I potentially increase my chances?

Thanks for the help!

Thanks, will do. Besides strategy consulting firms I have also heard about econ consulting firms. I have read some related posts but not sure how it leads to in terms of career prospects ?

Do you think I could have a shot in a boutique consulting firm? Even though the brand name is important to everyone, working closely with the managers and being highly involved in the projects with the clients is something I also value
