I think a lot of Bridgespan kids aren't really interested in going the business school route. I think a lot of them go to grad school in something more "help the world" oriented. It's pretty hard to get a job there, and maybe as hard as MBB, but they look for a different kind of person since their mission is so different.

As far as jumping to Bain, it's probably somewhat doable. The firms are so close that Bridgespan sends their new hires to Bain training.

 

The pure numbers are misleading since TBG has such a small incoming associate consultant class (12 total), but from the number the majority that do go to b school go to top ones( GSB, HBS, Kellogg Yale SOM). Their hires post MBA all are from top 4 schools.
