Bridgewater Portfolio Associate interview
Luckily the hiring gets resumed after the internal restructuring.....
Does anyone have insights on the Portfolio Associate role at Bridgewater (Portfolio construction team more specifically) Not sure how is this role different from Investment engineers……
Expecting the upcoming round which would be several “case interviews” - would appreciate it if anyone could share some tips how should I prepare for this!
Any other comments about this role are also welcomed - thanks!!!

Investment engineering more closely resembles a programming job. Whereas a Portfolio Associate is responsible for portfolio construction.
Bump - did anyone end up interviewing for this position and can shed some light on the interviews?
I did make it to the final round but my interviewer told me this is a purely operational role with no investment/market exposure in fact (like treasury/compliance/risk) type role....
I was also surprised by just FYI...
lmao. I reached out to a portfolio associate on Linkedin and he told me they literally are front office lol. They are not back office. So whom should I trust?
Can you share the format of the final round interview? Is it similar to the previous case interview or very different?
What were the interviews like?
