Business School for Product Management Pivot?

Hi Monkeys,

I'm a UG student trying my best to put together a tailored career path - I intend on applying to a deferred program and I remain open minded, but a path I'm flirting with mentally a lot right now is to go to business school in order to pivot into product management at a big tech firm after an IB stint at a MM. With so much ahead of me, I obviously can't be certain of much, but let's assume this will be my background and intention for when I apply.

Additionally, I have an OR engineering background from an Ivy, and really want to be able to utilize those technical skills along with the skills I'll develop in banking. The more interesting day-to-day and better work-life balance in PM are appealing, but compensation and upward mobility are also heavy considerations. Is pivoting to PM a common angle for Bschool? Which Bschools in general are best for this kind of move and which may frown on it? Am I crazy and should I focus on building my career in finance instead?

Thanks for your perspectives - any other insights would also be much appreciated.
