Cambridge Finance Societies
I will be attending Cambridge next year for the MPhil Finance / Finance and Economics and would like to hear from any current students or alumni what the best finance clubs to join are?
I’m not looking for CV padding as I have a good job sorted already, I just want to gain some practical skills. I don’t have a preference for which branch of finance specifically as I’m genuinely interested in most things, so anything from value investing / real estate valuation / algorithmic trading goes. What would you say are the best clubs or societies to gain useful skills rather than just attending speaker events?
