Can anybody evaluate my chance of getting into MIT MFin?
I am an internation student, currently struggling with job searching. I am thinking of getting a second master's degree at MIT MFin but I am not sure about my chances getting in. Could someone help me evaluate my background? Thanks!
- undergrad in a non-target school with 3.3 GPA, math major
- currently at UVA for a master's program in Commerce
- 2*investment fund finance internships
- GMAT 690 (Q50 V32)
Snowball's chance in hell.
I advise you to turn to a more suitable specialist who understands this area, because an ordinary person will not be able to give you valuable and correct advice.

You have little to no chance for MIT. And don't waste your money with a "review".
UG GPA - low Currently getting a MSF GMAT - Below MIT Avg. GMAT Split - poor
MIT is going to question why you want a second masters. Being international, your scores should be much higher. You went to a non-target and had an OK at best GPA. Your GMAT needs to be higher with a higher verbal score.
You are at UVA, which is lucky. Program is great. I would focus on gaining employment vs. trying to do anyone very similar masters.
Hi, I’m new to the forum. I did my undergraduate at university at buffalo. I studied finance. I don’t have any experience. I am planning on applying for Vanderbilt, usc, bc and wuisl. Gpa:3.73 gmat:700. What are my chances.
Also , I have passed CFA Level 1 if this helps
Hi my alumni, how's your career now? Go bulls!
Why would you need or want 2 specialized masters?
