Can I change my sexual orientation after submitting applications?

As of a couple of minutes ago, I've decided I'm now a bisexual and want to go back to all my applications and re-submit them into the diversity pile. How do I go about this?

I identify LGBTQ+ and hesitantly ticked the box when submitting my applications. As someone who isn't comfortable sharing my real sexuality with close friends, let alone random co-workers, I was extremely uncomfortable with how publicly my firm identified me as being a LGBTQ+ diversity hire. If you aren't honestly comfortable with your MD thinking that you're sucking d**k on your protected Saturdays, this move has diminishing returns. Good luck lol

How does one suddenly decide they're bisexual? I thought it wasn't a choice?

I was actually in a situation like this. I honestly only realized (i.e. stopped internally repressing, which I had been doing since middle school) my sexuality, and accepted that I was indeed bisexual, halfway through recruiting season. However, for me to start showing up at diversity events halfway through recruiting season, escpecially considering I was dating a girl, would have been suspect to some people. So I ended up staying in the closet for recruiting season.

Imo looking back I should have done otherwise, and recommend others to do so, because you should be yourself and tbh fuck what other people think.
