Can I tell my boss I hate my job?

Recently started a new job. It's horrible. Bosses get the sense I am not happy. They have asked what they can do to 'support' me, etc.. I have a suggestion as to how I can add value and also avoid the part of the job that drives me to tears. Wondering if being candid will get me fired?

 

Is this a job you have been looking for awhile? Based on info given, I would say there are ways to phrase feedback for your role without being too direct. Why don't you like your job?

I was looking to move cities and took the first thing that came my way. I am neither interested in the role nor the company. Just a placeholder job.
What I don't like: 1) The role is very operational: need to get into the nitty gritty details of the business (the kind of stuff that is 100% useless info outside of the company).
2) The company culture 3) This is the biggest one: existing models and procedure are a nightmare. Not a day rolls by when there isn't a 10 hour ordeal to fix some "exception" that messed up the models.
4) Colleagues and bosses are very nice but not so bright

 

Almost sounds like you are FY IB Analyst. Well, I would say consider your next move your best move (to quote T.I.) and look for which role you believe will the right transition for you. Then network and applying for roles (focus more on networking) as you continue to learn about that role. Persistence and Patience are key...
