Can someone share some insights about the hiring process at those big financial service firms?
Had an onsite interview more than a week ago and have not heard back (was told two more rounds to come). I was told I was one of those early candidates interviewed and would expect to hear back in 2 weeks.
It took them a day from phone interview to on-site and a week seemed like a long time. I was very positive when leaving their office as the hiring manager said it should be good when walking me to the elevator; not so sure any more (some people gave me their cards at the beginning and I sent thank-you notes to them, and none replied).
Can anyone share some insight about the hiring process at those big firms? Do they decide on moving a certain candidate forward right after the interview, or they would wait until they interviewed all candidates and sit down to talk about them together? If I am the early one, would they not remember me after 2 weeks? How much say does analyst and associate have? All VP's and above seemed to like me, but the associate and analyst may not, and I am applying for an associate position (3 seemed very positive, including the hiring manager, 3 hard to tell).
