Can you do well straight out of college graduating from an average state school with a fincance major?

Say I graduate from a school like University of South Carolina, Florida State University or LSU with a finance major (all in the 90-140 range of US News' top national universities) could I be making six figures withing 5-10 years? Or should I be expecting to not make very much for about 10 years until I prove myself in the work place.

Can you please elaborate on what it means to hit "Partner" and how long that would take. I'm sorry but I'm not actually very well educated in finance terms at this time. I'm actually a high school student who realizes he didn't do his best in high school and is now dedicated to making the best of the rest of my future
