Capital Gains Taxes of International Companies Stock
As an American, if I buy stock on the London Stock Exchange and sell it for a profit, does it get taxed by the American Cap Gains or the UK Cap Gains? I ask because I heard that New Zealand has no capital gains taxes but if that was true to anyone living there with any international stock, Banks and Funds would be pouring over there so just want some clarification.
