Capital One BA Exit Opps

As I understand it, Capital One's Business Analyst role isn't quite consulting nor is it quite corporate finance. The role falls somewhere in the middle, though, closer to corporate finance. Because it doesn't exactly conform to one or the other, I'm having a hard time determining what the career path and progression look like. What are common/possible exits for Capital One's Business Analysts?

That's good to know, though, it does seem silly to take a job just to have it send you back to school and have you recruit again.

Since it's a rotational program and you get to choose to some extent, depends on what you make of it. Rotations include finance, analytics, strategy, data science, PM, design. People exit into similar roles at big tech, banks, etc. You can also keep moving up internally, there's a clear path to director and above.

As mentioned, bschool placement is very good.

Do you have an idea of what percent of people exit to tech vs. to another banking firm? Breaking out of consumer finance (and commercial to an extent) might be very tough.
