Career Advice: CM or ER?
I currently have full-time offers in both capital markets and equity research at two separate bulge bracket investment banks. Just wanted to get a general opinion what you guys think would be the better field to start my career in terms of experience, salary, exit opportunities, etc.
Right now, I am leaning towards going towards the capital markets route, joining the ECM team, and leveraging my experience and knowledge of equity research to the more deal-oriented, client-driven side of the business.
