Career move into Credit at BB

Currently a first year auditor in a program at a BB working on credit risk team. Really enjoyed the work, but the LOB began to interest me more rather than the audit work. Spent time reviewing credit approvals and that they were underwritten correctly. Network with a decent amount of people at the bank who work in credit (specially CIB, not commercial banking). First year out of school, had a decent GPA (3.5) with multiple alumni in IBD at tier 2-3 banks. What’s my best path? Continue to network at work and build knowledge on credit in my free time or go back to school in coming years and try and break into CIB traditionally post MBA?
