Career Options - Real Time Power Trading or AVP in Product Control at BB?

Title pretty much says it all. I'm currently in an associate middle office / product control role at a top S&T shop in the Midwest. Wife wants to move, and Houston sucks. Currently make $70k. Was offered two role last week. First is a real time power trading role at a local, publicly traded utility, making $80k in the Midwest, with the potential for "standard industry bonuses". Other role I was offered was in on the coast--Assistant Vice President at a BB in product control in the fixed equities. Role pays $90k + "standard industry bonuses."

Feel like the utility company would offer more job security, but close to no exit opportunities. Likewise, feel like the AVP job is financially better and offers more exit opportunities, but would be very boring and at a high risk for layoffs during the next recession.
