Career Path for the Back Road

Just curious if there's the opportunity for the same kind of exit opps and the like for BO and MO people? Obviously not in terms of pay, but do MO or BO people move from a BB after a few years to a PE or HF ever (and get paid more)? I gotta imagine the skills of Risk, Finance, and in some cases, Ops guys translate to these other areas.

Anyone know anything about this?

Thanks,

Plissken

It depends, if you're in risk that's actually a valuable skillset, it opens up a number of doors. However unless you want BO/MO at PE/HF, no.

To clarify, that's what I meant. Like is there a sorta path you can go on from MO at a BB to MO at a PE/HF that pays more or something?
