Career starting advice/job prospects help

Hey guys, hope life is treating you well. As far as i'm concerned i'm quite confused in life right now. 21 years old. No college education and i'm working a pretty trashy job right now. But i am motivated just hope it's not too late.

I was thinking i could get into Investment Banking or software engineering? They seem to be lucrative and i'm willing to work hard. I'm just lost as all heck because i have bad influences around me and i've realized that and should have done certain things earlier.

With my job right now, is it possible for me to get a degree for either of these things online, that i can work on while i am working full time? I do not have a significant other or much to commit to. So i can commit alot of time to what i want. It would probably be close to impossible for the business degree, as i need to probably go to a top school to have any success at job prospects etc? Just from what i've gathered.

My goal is just to really focus alot of time and become really good at something, that will make me alot of money. Maybe it's not these two things. But if someone could steer me in the right direction that would be much appreciated. I can elaborate on my life situations or whatever need be to help get a better depiction of the situation i'm in but it's pretty straightforward. I want to advance my life.

Thanks for reading
