I know it must plague a lot of junior bankers. Any tips/tricks to keep it under control? My pinky is killing me!

Get some surgery to fix it and take some approved disability time off. Get a free vacation out of IBD's crushing repetitive stress injuries.
No surgery if you can avoid it.
Watch how you move your hands at work - it's most often caused by tension and inefficient muscle movements.
If you can find a way to fix bad habits in your hand movements, you can avoid surgery (which may not fix the problem and is risky).
There are sports medicine people out there and people who work with musicians/pianists and others to correct bad movement habits. Many of them advertise, do some research and ask for references.
I do some hand stretches every now and then to help. I make a fist a few times and then shake out my hands.

Hey guys,
So I'm a 2nd year analyst and lately my hands been feeling a bit numb and at times pain when I type...most likely from being on the keyboard all day. Has anyone and/or run into anyone who developed some sort of hand injury such as carpal tunnel and what became of that person? Would be interested in hearing experiences...

My dad got carpal tunnel from working in a steel mill in his late teens/early twenties from carrying the steel rods all day - full recover from surgery, and this was 25+ years ago. Go see a doc and see what they can do for you...

Place a book under your keyboard so that it tilts down away from you - the natural position of your hands is downward so this should alleviate some of the pressure. Naturally, go to a doctor and get checked out. There are also ergonomic keyboards you can buy ...
