Cass MSc Banking and International Finance
Help me decide before 6th June whether I should take up Cass’ offer of MSc Banking and International Finance if I’m targeting IB in London. I’m an international student with work experience in non profit management for a year.
Any insights will be highly appreciated.

Anyone?
realistically you aren’t going to get into IB and it’s a very long shot from a not well reputed uni in addition to a lack of any relevant or impressive experience and assuming not a prestigious undergrad. IB aint it chief
If I go to cass, what sort of role would I be able to get?
I also have an offer from KCL for the same course.
Cass is 30k tuition, while kcl is 35.5k
What should I do?
In my view Cass is: 1) Overly expensive for what it is. 2) A great location (London) that helps w/ networking. 3) Has a very wide range of student quality.
Can you get to IB from there? Yes. Will it be easy? No. Will it be harder than the more targeted schools? Yes.
Man, I wish I would have done more research before choosing them over LSE for study abroad. I already got an IB internship this summer but def would have been good to know.
The only other option I have in London is KCL MSc
Which do you think should be better. KCL is more expensive than Cass.
It's a hard question because KCL isn't a finance school. The school's finance offering is very recent. The program also has a stronger rep int'l than domestically.
Between the two, would think that Cass offers slightly better recruiting, but both are semi-targets.
What are your other options?

I don’t have any other option.
I’m waiting for an answer from LSE but haven’t heard back anything yet as I applied there only 3 weeks ago.
Should I try Imperial?
Being honest, Imperial and LSE may be a waste of time now as most seats will be filled at this point. Go to Cass over KCL
Should I defer a year at Cass and try out for imperial or lse early next year?
