I feel bad breaking this to you, but Romney isn't going to win the general election. You have over four more years of Obama inviting Cee Lo and other black entertainers to any event he pleases, sorry that it offends your sensibilities.

I saw Cee Lo Green live last year in Chicago, he sucks. I wouldn't invite him to my parties.

Brady, normally I don't get involved in these threads, but if I were President I'd love to hear an artist I enjoy who happens to be a political supporter play at a campaign fundraiser. If he likes Cee Lo, then who should really give a damn? I'm a fan of Bruce Springsteen and Bon Jovi but I doubt either act would want to play at a fundraiser for a conservative. If Obama's campaign managers or the White House got Cee Lo to play at an event, so be it. If you don't like Cee Lo, it's your decision to like or dislike him but don't say that it's a disgrace.

I don't particularly care what The Anointed One does, but it is kinda of bad taste to invite a guy who sings "Fuck you" and then flips off the crowd. You can listen to whatever you want, but jeez, might want to have this song sang in private.

This really isn't a common sense/conservative beliefs/fair and balanced type political issue. It's more of a commentary on who is attending or performing at his fundraiser. This reminds me a great deal of the 2006 White House Correspondent's Association Dinner insomuch as the choice of Colbert as the keynote speaker definitely caused some serious problems. The Cee Lo performance just seems to parallel the Colbert speech from the perspective of choosing an appropriate entertainer for an event - it's kind of interesting when you think about it.

I think Obama was pretty inexperienced and new to things and he probably brought a younger, fresher staff with him. Along with this freshness is maybe a little inexperience or a desire to push the boundaries.

I think Obama's staff is full of retards. Most of the crap I dislike him on is related to idiots that he surrounds himself with. As mentioned previously, his taste of music is his, but a dude swearing and flipping off a crowd at a White House event is a little silly. The vetting process should have been a little tighter.
