CFA® Question - Question for any charter holders
Just a question for any charterholders out there, or someone with more detailed knowledge of the work experience requirement that CFA® Institute sets.
I'm sitting for Level III in June, at which point I will have 1 full year of work experience in ER. If I pass the exam, I know that I still have three years required before I can become a charterholder.
My question is what happens for the three years in between? Do I have to annually do something to still be a "Candidate of good standing", or do I just have to wait the time out without doing anything else until I meet the requirement?
I believe, and you'll need to check with a chapter rep, you need to continue taking a certain number of courses/credits each year.
No you don't have to do anything. Submit your work ex after four years, pay your membership fee, and frame that bitch.
This is correct.
That's good news. Thanks guys.
