CFA Work Experience (Mutual Fund Sales)

I'm currently insurance sales agent and investment advisor for an independent marketing organization. I offer investment advice, sell annuities and mutual funds, and I supervise a team of over a dozen agents to make annuity and mutual fund sales. Does this count as relevant work experience for the CFA?

Yes it will, provided you articulate it correctly.

I've seen people spin some very tangentially related experience to qualify for their charters (i.e. 100% back office / technology work).

But cross that bridge when you get there . . . worry about the exams first son!

"Some things are believed because they are demonstrably true. But many other things are believed simply because they have been asserted repeatedly—and repetition has been accepted as a substitute for evidence." - Thomas Sowell
