Chance at MIT MFin?
Top 40 non target. Math and Quantitative Econ double major. CGPA 3.4. GRE 331 Q 169
1 small PE internship,1 buy-side M&A internship, 1 short-term ER internship
3 leadership activities (1 president in an investment banking club)
international student
Goal: originally wanted to pursue banking, but got chance to talk to a couple consultants and changed my mind. Now want to break into consulting. Tier1/2 both fine.
Do I even stand a chance? What does MIT want from their students? I'd appreciate any insights.
Thank you.
FYI: Kellogg MSMS is only accepting Northwestern undergrads starting this year.
Take a look at this class profile. They have allot of international students. GREQ is in line with the average. GPA is a little low.
