Chances FO SA offer at MS/GS/JPM gets pulled????
Hey guys, I am an incoming SA in a front-office position (S&T, IB, research) at a BB. I am hearing many conflicting opinions on other threads, but what are the odds my offer gets pulled???

Career Resources
Be more specific. The dynamics in S&T are very different from the dynamics in IB and ER.
I'll be doing research!
S&T is obviously more vulnerable than IB or Research
why?
Just like in IB, you can't make sweeping assumptions for all desks. You think Distressed Debt and Rates aren't busy right now?
They're extremely busy (I'm on a distressed desk) however that almost makes it worse. My MD/Ds specifically don't want an intern at this time because we are too busy to teach someone the ropes right now.
Assuming you're in research? I think the chance of them pulling offers from SAs are low at the moment. You're not due to start for another 10 weeks and things can change drastically by then. However, there could be implications to the convertion into full time hires.
Yes, I am also an incoming SA and was wondering this. I am concerned but also confused. I have seen that a lot of companies with far less resources than banks have committed to a remote internship. And due to the fact that banks spend a lot of time and money on the SA program, I personally believe that it will either delayed or virtual for the first few weeks, then having SA come into the office towards the end. Any thoughts?
Definetely a possibility; however could the onboarding process be delayed because everything is shut down? I'm taking background checks, fingerprints, drug tests, or anything external really.
