Chances of Admission: MSc Management
Hello everyone!
I was wondering whether anyone on this forum has some insight into the MSc Management programme admissions and programme/ school reputation / value? I am currently looking at Imperial College and Warwick with Strathclyde, Manchester, or Durham as a third application. I looked at LSE, but given I need to write the GRE or GMAT for it, I have opted not to apply. The same goes for LBS -- I also looked at the make up of the programme and felt that my background did not fit the school.
GPA: 3.7/4.33 from UBC (Honours - Non Thesis - Political Science)
Extracurricular Activities: Model United Nations (I have been the main organizer, Chief of Staff, and Chair at local and international conferences including a conference attended by over 3000 people); Student Clubs (esp. event organizing); student government; Baseball Umpire.
Languages: English (Fluent) French (currently B1)
Grew up in a household with a parent who was a Senior Executive in an international natural resource company.
I currently work in the President's office at a regional university.
Any insight would be fantastic! Thanks!
I do not see any internships. Where are you from? I would consider looking for a two year program in order to do some internships. Other than that your profile is probably solid.
Alas, that is the problem that I faced. Not many internships available during the summer , so I worked on labour crews to pay for school. I should have done co-op, but I transferred to UBC from a junior college.
From Western Canada.
