Chances of applying internationally (US) vs local (UK)
I am a British citizen soon to graduate from a Canadian university (this allows me to get a Canadian work permit). I would love to stay in North America but the Canadian roles at the large firms are limited to just the IB division.
If I apply to roles in the US are my chances of securing a position significantly less than if I apply to offices in London?
I believe I am a strong candidate but not highly exceptional.
Also, do I have a better chance if I apply to a particular city - e.g. Less popular than NYC?
Thank you for your insight.
