Choice of Analysis

Hi,

I've been given the opportunity to receive an analysis from a top IB of my choosing for educational purposes. I'm trying to learn more about analysis of individual stocks. I'm currently battling if I should pick a large standard stock like General Motors or if I should pick a tech stock since I know very little on how to analyse tech companies in general. Also, if you think tech stock would be the best way to go, which stock would you recommend getting an analysis of?

Of course if you have other suggestions please do let me know. Goal is to learn how to do something similar by my own.

Thanks in advance!
