Choosing between IB vs AM vs institutional sales: first ever internship

Hello,

I have the chance to choose between IB vs AM vs institutional sales for my first ever internship (freshman). I am most interested in AM and hope to get into that industry for my junior internship. The firms are all on the same level. Any advice on which one i should take?

don't IB internships build stronger technical skills (modeling etc) and lead to wider exposure in general? Since its my first internship and I'm just really there to learn and not to get a job, would IB be a viable choice?

thanks for the advice!

What if i probably won't return to the same firm next year? This one is mainly through connections and next year I would probably try to recruit for a non-diversity sophomore program from the few BBs that have one (deutsche, TD) or even maybe for junior internships from BAML, CS, etc since they recruit hella early nowadays.

AM still the right choice here?
